A health warning for woodburning stoves

Hold your fire. People with woodburning stoves in their homes have very high exposure to PM2.5, which can peak at 195.83 microgram/m3, Sheffield University researchers found. WHO recommends exposure to no more than an average of 15 microgram/m3 a day. The researchers recommended that, like cigarettes, stoves should come with a health warning.

CMEPEDIA offers a free course on air pollution, which also takes indoor pollutants into consideration to increase awareness on these kinds of health hazards.
