Five new medical colleges to add 750 more seats to pool in Karnataka

Karnataka is all set to add 750 more medical seats to the MBBS pool commencing the 2021-22 academic year. The new government medical colleges are located at Chikkaballapur, Haveri, Yadgir and Chikkamagaluru. GR Medical College, a private institution, is coming up in Mangaluru. The total number of MBBS seats in the state will go up to 8,895, and the total number of medical colleges in the state will be 53.
