Karnataka 2nd in Covid+ healthcare workers

Karnataka has the second highest Covid-19 positive healthcare workers in the country after Maharashtra, with a total of 12,260 healthcare workers contracting the infection so far, out of which 46 have died.

This includes doctors, nurses, lab technicians, pharmacists, allied health workers and group D staff.

As per the ICMR’s August 25 line list, 107100 samples of healthcare workers have been tested so far, out of which 11% have turned Covid positive.

CMEPEDIA is keen to re-distribute information on Covid management to increase awareness to reduce the risk to healthcare workers.
